FSX is killing me. :(
FSX is playing like a powerpoint presentation.
I have tried different drivers, SI, no SLI, changing files in the scenery folder, different drivers, overclocking, disabeling stuff in taskmanager, and still no change. I have changed the resolution, graphics settings, all sorts.
I have a pretty good rig, so this shouldnt be happening.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 6000+ X2. (Water cooled and overclocked from 3000Mhz to 3300Mhz.)
GPU: Nvidia 8800GTS 320Mb X2. (Both overclocked to 648Mhz.)
RAM: 4096Mb 800Mhz. (Overclocked to 825Mhz.)
MB: Asus Crosshair 590 SLI.
HDD: Western Digital Raptor (System drive) Seagate Barracuda (Games only drive).
PSU: Hyper Type R 580W.
Monitors: 22” LCD Samsung Syncmaster 2ms response, time, plus 17” CRT as monitor 2 (Each monitor on separate GPU when SLI is not enabled.)
OS: M$ Vista Ultimate SP1.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks for all your time and effort,

I know a lot of people are unhappy with FSX, and went back to FS9. Take a run over to www.avsim.com, they have a forum specialized in FSX, and FS9. You'll get more help there, than you probably can here. I'm running FS9 with all sorts of addon's...not going to FSX anytime soon (if ever).
