ActivisionBlizzard Question...

Is it possible since Blizzard bought Activision that Guitar Hero and Call Of Duty games will be different, if so what do you think they will do to them?

I am just wondering because I really like how the COD games are going and I don't want them to change... Same with Guitar Hero....

Hopefully not, I'm not so into guitar hero, but I'm partial to the Call of Duty games. There doing so well with everyone's satisfaction that Blizzard can't afford to screw them up. Plus, it's probably one of the top shooter games on all platforms. I doubt Blizzard will dare to change them... just leave it to activision to bring the great games coming.

It was Activision that acquired Blizzard. If anything it would be us WOW'ers that would be concerned about any major changes.

Something to know about the major publishing houses taking in the "smaller" studios is that often times this is just a convienance factor for both parties.

EA bought studios left and right to bring them inhouse and cut out middle men. Yes they often flexed their muscle and made bad decisions but they have learned from their ways. Blizzard is very much doing their own thing and reaping the lack of middleman being needed. When your bosses dont have to get the legal department involved to start negotiating contracts to ship a game, its all the better.
