Back up Games

I would like to start backing up my games so i dont destroy the originals, i have both Alcohol 120 and Nero 7and my burner is a MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ-120 ATA. just wondering whats the best program to use and a method that i can follow, even though the method to back them up probably changes for each game just wanting a basic mehtod of what needs to be done just to get me on the right track.
Also if you are actually able to back up games if they are on dvd or if it only works with cd games, been told that if they are on dvd u can only make a virtual image on ur comp but dont successfly burn onto dvds?
help would be great.

What you are trying to do is probably illegal. However if you have a broken disk, the manufacturer will replace it most of the time if you send it in. Well it depends on which manufacturer of course but I think EA does that for one.
