I've played Jedi Academy for 2 years without any problems. But recently, I've encountered some serious, annoying problems with this game.
You see, I wanted to play multi-player, but, then when it loads the loader, and enters a black screen (as if it loads JKA and the resolution), it says "Jedi Academy does not work anymore", and shortly after, it stops the program, and exits to desktop.
I've also experienced game freezes, at the point where the animation of Lucasarts (with lightning and a lightsabre) appears. There, it freezes, and stops responding as well. The strange thing is, that it managed to get through for one time, and then not anymore.
I do have my game patched, and I do have updated drivers. My crappy video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 405 (version: 7.15.0011.8120(English)).
MY sound device's name is Realtek High Definition Audio. The driver is named as RTKVHDA.sys (version: 6.00.0001.5322(English)).
I have also completed a SysCheck, to see if my computer matches the game requirements - passed all.
And, as said before, the odd thing is that I got to play for once (since the problems occurred), and the next times not.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm really eagerly looking forward to be able to play again. |

I'm better your video card is having issues.
