GTA 3 for the PC rocks!

I got this for the PC and it is just as good as the ps2 version. This game never gets tireing. What do you think?

Yes, but you can do all kinds of bad stuff that you could not do in the first 2 like beat down old ladies, jump ramps, and other unmentionable stuff

Saw the "unedited" PS2 version ... it was awesome. Think I will actually get a game for my computer since I actually have enough power (CPU, RAM, AGP) to play something like this. Now all I'm waiting for is Warcraft III.

Supposedly they had plans for multiplayer... go to gta3.com for alot of info... great site..

YEah, the game is awsome, but so many people are whining about laggyness. I can run it, but draw distance has to be really low, but I can have the grapics ok, though not great.

Hopefully it is a problem with the game that can be fixed like people are saying it has to be, so I dont have to buy a new comp to play it with nice settings.

I don't see why they banned that version in australia. I mean its not like people would go out and beat up hookers after playing the game, well nobody sane anyway...

Visiting gta3.com for a Windows XP update will remove the laggyness. It has been a discussed topic over there, part of a windows update basically for the Directx..

yes you can pick up a "lady of the night" in the PC version Just make sure your car does not have a lot of dents in it or she will refuse

YEah, I got that patch, and it didnt seem to fix anything, and its still pretty choppy. Ill just have to wait to see if anything comes out that will fix any speed problems, but right now the gta3forums are filled with people who just like to complain, so I cant really make out whats actaully a game problem and whats a computer speed problem.
