D2 over lan

Hi guys,

I have a question. Me and a friend are trying to play D2:LoD over TCP/IP (lan game).
Problem is, we are both behind a router. When one of us unplug is router, we can join the game, but otherwise, we can't join.

Is there a port to foward or something to configure in our router to play behind it?

Thank

If these are two separate internet connections you will not be able to play this way. You will need a vpn to accomplish this. You both need to install something like hamachi and connect to each other through the hamachi application. Then you will be able to play a LAN game

Hi GroundZero3,

As you said, we are both behind our own internet connection.
We will give a try to Hamachi.

Is it hard/easy to configure?

Thank you
