| I'm alittle pissed, i built this awesome computer, but i don't have alot of games for it. I have a few but i've either finished them or got tired of them. I own: Crysis Crysis: Warhead Cryostasis World of Warcraft F.E.A.R. Platinum COD: WOW Nearly all of them are shooters, and i'm so freakin tired of shooters, i'd like alittle variety but i have no idea what to look for.
I was thinking about RTS but only one i really have my eye out for isn't even out (Starcraft 2)
Games i was looking at:
F.E.A.R 2 (heard it was short)
Farcry 2 (heard it wasn't good)
And thats all i can remember
If anybody know of any games (non shooters in perticular) please let me know. |

If you played 'fear' you wont really want to play 'fear 2'.
'Dawn of war' is a RTS game that I played to death.
'Supreme commander' will give your rig something to do (especially when alot of units are on screen). Not a bad game either.
KOTOR 1 & 2 are amazing RPG's (won't challenge your rig though).
Ive played a bit of 'Farcry 2' the missions get very repetative.....

I agree with Aaron of FC2. I've been working my way through it the last couple weeks, and I'm pretty bored with it. Seems like A LOT of running around. I'd rather just get straight to the point.
Anywho, are you one to sit and play online? Or are you a fan of single player missions? |

I have supreme commander, just haven't got around to installing it on the new system,
I sometimes have the urge to play online, not alot though, i'm really more of the single player type person, but if its something like MMO's or mecha games like Armored Core then yea i'll play the hell out of them.
I sometimes play crysis online. but not religiously.

| Single Player: Bioshock Hawx Grid Grand Theft Auto Series (the newest is kind of blah, but others were great) Mirrors Edge- This will test your system with physics on
Multi-Player Call of Duty- Modern Warfare - IMO the best online PC shooter that's been put out Team Fortress 2 - The game is odd at first, but I swear the more you play, the more addicted you get CrimeCraft- The game is in beta right now, but it's kind of a mix between GTA series and WoW. It's interesting for sure. I'm part of the beta right now, and it's a fun game. BUT, I'm not really into WoW type games, so it really wasn't my thing. If they would let you go through the game without having to do the "quests" and other missions and such, I'd probably like it more. But I'm a FPS guy. Video here
Really, I play those the most. TF2 I play more then any game by far. I'm kind of burnt out on COD, but I've come back to it 3 or more times now. Still a great game.

| The KOTOR series are really good games, can't wait for a new one to come out. I don't even like RPG's much but those two games are up there in my all time top 10.
I hate Far Cry 2. It was a big disappointment for me and it crashes way too much for my liking (don't know if any other guys on TIMO got crashes with the game).
I've just started playing Fallout 3 today (got it for Xmas 08) which seems fine so far, only played it for three hours, and a guy at work is always talking about mirrors edge at the moment so it may be good.
This is the game I really want next it's a shooter however: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Karmas list is all good and i agree with the comment about GTA, the series seems to have run its course now.

Call of Juarez is a fun game. My buddy has it, and I've spent a little bit of time on it. Seemed like a fun game.
I had no issues with FC2 at all. Weird. |

Get yourself some RTS games for a change.
My favs are
Company of heroes (there are two expansions)
Supreme commander
Total War
They are all thinking man's games. I love Company of Heroes to bits. The other two are massive massive games that you may or may not like.
I finally decided to install Red Alert 3 after half a year of it sitting in my shelf. Playing it now. Its pretty cool Brings back memories of RA2 and the old RA series from way back.

If you like Supreme Commander, Give Total Annihilation a go (if you can find it). Its quite old, but at its time it was way ahead of anything else. And personally, I find it more fun then Supreme Commander its surprisingly pretty addictive as well haha.
Also, the C&C series is pretty fun also. |
