Couldn't load image 'weapon_eotech_2_col'

Hey guys I just joined the forum because IW doesn't seem to have any official tech support website for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, so I thought maybe you gents could help me out.

I bought the game the day it came out - 2 days ago. It's been running fine, no problems. But tonight when I got home from work, I go to start the game, it gets to the main multiplayer menu, and then immediately after, the game minimizes and this error pops up: Couldn't load image 'weapon_eotech_2_col'

It's just one of those simple white boxes with a red X in it. Any help with this would be amazing. Thanks so much

Afraid until they start releasing patch's there is not much you can do short of a re-instal.

Okay now I haven't been able to play for two days because of similar, but different errors.

I start the game, and after maybe 5 seconds of being in the multiplayer menu, with or without safe mode, I got one error yesterday, that said: couldn't load image 'weapon_stinger_' and i forget the rest of the code.

The other error came today, about 10 minutes ago, and I cant get into the game because this keeps popping up - even in single player. This one says: couldn't load image 'cottonpuff'

Hahaha. I laugh every time i see it, but seriously this is pissing me off. Anyone else have this error?

Tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it?
