Diablo 3 was stated as not being available at all in 2010.
Here is where I get all my D3 news.

up until a few months back (or earlier this summer) I had read SCII was put on hold or at least pushed back to 2010 sometime in anticipation for DIII to to come out around the end of the year, but I haven't read anything in many months on either, aside from the one preview of SCII in PC Gamer Magazine, I think it was PC Gamer, I forget. (or maybe that was SupCom 2 I was reading, I Forget), I just remember reading about SCII being pushed back and DIII coming out before SCII by the end of the year.

I hope its worth the wait. Blizzard makes some good stuff but it takes a while.

my guess is they want to push the new WoW content first and get everyone's money off it, then release SC2 or Diablo.
Good job, friend-of-friends!

Starcraft 2 will be completely awesome as long as the unit cap is still around 200 and the game focus's on building/organizing your units instead of micro managing a hero. My 2 gripes about the WC3 ladder match; low max unit limit and the hero's. I played way more custom games than I did ladder because of that. Overall Starcraft seems to be the faster paced RTS; which is what I loved about it.

+1 to the micromanaging the hero. If I wanted an rpg I would play one.
Personally I like the more grand scale strategy, and I think sup commander really nailed that one.
But having the unit cap is useful too, it does force one to rethink their strategies.Reason obeys itself; and ignorance does whatever is dictated to it.
