WTF, aside from Race Drivin and SC2 their ALL shareware... of course they're free, most of them were free back then too, its how they gained popularity and sales. and if their Shareware, they're not the whole game, just part of it, especially the id Games, Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, but so is Duke 3D.

Welcome to the year 2000 where retro gaming is back in mode. DosBox has been in development for years to return the glory of yesteryear back to the masses!

Ive been wanting to use it to play Daggerfall again. The game was AMAZING until the ugly head of bugs and such reared its head and spoiled the fun for me. Have been thinking about putting it on a USB drive and running the game on the go.

I wonder how it would play on my atom netbook.

Thems would be the ones! 148 megs for the installer and 450 megs for the biggest install ... cant really argue with putting it on an 8gig Flash Drive.

Nope, I had known about those a while back, but forgot to mention it to a friend back then too LOL, luckily your reply reminded me, and was able to send him a link on facebook to download them and DosBox to use later when he has time. thankfully, those should even run on the weakest of netbooks/laptops these days. theoretically, their so old, they shouldn't have any problem running on a cell phone or PicoITX system, if it was able to emulate DOS.

LOL, now if they have any DOS emulators for their Linux based OS's, you might be able to play those on them

LOL! I would have thought that would be fairly simple to do a dos emulator in linux?
