    Borderlands weapon duplication Xbox360

Been playing Borderlands on the 360 with my friend and we've been messing around. We are both on the second play through. I've hit level 48 and he's at level 50. We both have the Underdome and Dr. Neds Zombie Island DLC's.

So, we found a way to duplicate weapons!

Usually, we end at the storage locker you get with the Underdome download, so get that NOW! It's worth it for the storage.

Here's the trick. Start in Fyrestone and get away from any N U stations. The person hosting the session HAS TO RECEIVE the weapon(s) that wish to be duplicated. STAY AWAY FROM THE N U STATIONS! You will lose the weapon forever if you give a weapon to the guest player ( found that out the hard way...lost a 20 shot magazine shotgun with a scope that was just brutal, better than the hunters shotgun )

So, the invited gamer gives the weapon(s) that wish to be duplicated to the host.

The original host quits the game ( game saves automatically ) and then restarts the game. You can send a new invite by pressing the center button on the controller, going to your friends list and sending the invite while the game loads again.

Move away from the N U station and wait for the guest to show up. When the Guest spawns into the game, they will have all their original weapons that were given to you, and you will still have those weapons in your inventory.

Go to the N U station and move to the Underdome and store the weapons if you wish to make more duplicates.

It's that easy! I suggest buying a cheap revolver and testing the process before chancing it with a rare weapon, just so you can confirm you are doing it right and not lose a valued weapon or mod.

Also, completing the challenge at the Underdome gives you an extra skill point to spend, so bring a friend with a high level in with a low level character on playthrough 1 for an easy skill level point. The next challenge is 4x as hard though, and then there is play through 2!

Also, if you play through the game twice, there is a third play though were all the enemies are lvl 50! The best drops come from there apparently.

I've got a 1250 x3 rocket launcher with a scope, so I can just imagine what the third playthrough can getcha!

I love the dialog and the bosses in the game. So far the only thing I don't like about it is no multiplayer online off one console, but I guess I can't complain since the rest of the game is good enough to overlook it.

The whole thing with the gun is pretty cool, but overwhelming. A lot of them are just dupes with extra hit points and special powers.

yeah, but the fun is when you find that one weapon that you latch onto. You almost can't just sell something because it is a lower level. I'm using a level 16 weapon and easily taking down level 43 guys with the thing! It's a machine gun that does 88 damage, 80% accuracy with an 8.8 fire rate with fire x4, but it has a 126 round magazine and a nice scope....it's a lead laser.
