Modern Warfare 2 Classes

Hey, I am a long time player on Call of Duty games. I would like to know peoples favorite class setups in MW2.

Mine:
-Primary: Fal: Holographic, FMJ
-Second: Striker: Grip, Red Dot
-Equiptment: Semtex
-special nade : Smoke
- perk 1: Bling Pro
- perk 2: stopping power
- perk 3: Commando Pro
- death streak: (No one cares)

MW2 Sucks! Host Migration and IWNet issues abound. Avoid at all costs and especially at 60 bucks. Game is worth 20 tops.

Your load out is dreadful however for any game type unless you are scripting that FAL to auto?

The FAL in my opinion has an obtrusive sight which really hinders quick target acquisition.

The Scar, Tar, MP5, G18's Akimbo and .50 Cal are tops for the majority of game types.

Killstreak camping is a whole other story in regards to having the correct setup for maximum pwnage.

The recipe for my Campsteak:

1 part equipment: Claymore

2 parts tube pwnage: Grenade Launcher and/or Thumper

3 parts perk: One Man Army, Scavenger and Danger Close

5 parts Killstreak: Predator, Harrier, Pavelow, Chopper Gunner, AC130

Mix to your preference but letting the Harrier and Pavelow do their magic to get you to a higher Killstreak is key. Certain maps and gametypes demand different loadouts and this is why prestiging additional loadout slots is damned crucial unless you become a master of the between round create a class.

Keep in mind talented clans and especially groups of players in comms make killstreaks that much more difficult. A few things to exploit are becoming talented enough to get your air support out first or not wasting your air support right away right after a teammate has air support out (ie other team has a stinger equipped). Keep in mind when the stinger is available after prestiging. I have often raped other teams by noticing rank in relation to stinger unlocked at level 30. Ignore the Prestige levels! They mean nothing!

Most pub scrubs do not even have an anti air class to begin with First Mistake! Your experience will soon be ruined by your teams incessant dying (granting air support to other team) or by their idiotic door, window and spawn blocking when they soon realize that there is NOTHING they can do against a good chopper gunner with danger close or an experienced Specter gunship gunner utilizing all three weapons. About all they accomplish is getting you calzoned repeatedly as you are attempting to utilize your stinger! If I get to play with my full team of clanmates your air support does not even make it out of spawn. The game is really shallow in regards to teams pwning random players with air support. I have gone 45 and 1 and I still hate it but play it for lack of a better fps.

Overall this game is so failcakes!

Well as most of us are PC gamers that is not really suprising....

I got my hopes going for BC2.

Careful of hopes and dreams Aaron. Bad Company 2 is still a console port.

While they will have dedicated servers they will still attempt to lock the console down somehow as this is the easiest method of piracy and cheating. I wonder what will suffer in the rcon. Would you pay for dedi with mw2's limited server config?

I am on the fence as VAC certainly has cheaters but no wheres near the public COD4 levels. Everything is private which is good but would it lock down 3rd party anti cheat which is usually most effective blocking the macros that the most heinous cheats employ?

I have MW2 on my PS3, but to be honest, I have been so busy the last 2 weeks that I haven't touched my PS3 in probably close to 20 days now.... Once I start playing again I will let you know what I like to use...
