    weird screen when playing games

i got hdtv. ps2 hook on it using avi cable. ps3 also hooked on the same hdtv using HDMI cable. both ps2 and ps3 hooked on same tv.

when i play ps2 fighting games on ps2 system..... say KOF 11 and when oponent fall down to ground the screen will go scramble-white with tiny lines across for 1 second. same goes to ps3 games when i play Wrestlemania Demo.... when slam oponent and screen will go lines scramble white for a second then go back to normal.

could it be defective HDTV? or what? any other idea besides defective tv? doe sit happend to you?

note i dont notice this problem when watching movies cause movies.

any other ideas besides defective TV...

just a shot in the dark, but could it possibly be a loose Connection with the cables or connectors on the console or TV, or possibly some shielding issues with the cables your using?

usually those are common sense things most people familiar with game consoles and TV's check before inquiring further about problems.

probably a loose connection on the TV set then, doesn't mean its a cheap TV, but a loose connection could be causing the problem or poor shielding of cables too.

since it seems to happen with 2 Different console systems, the odd thing is it seems to happen on 2 different consoles, but similar situations in 2 different games on 2 different consoles.

are you using Wireless Controllers? Are they Force Feed Back Controllers?

if so, could be the TV is picking up some sort of Force Feedback wireless signal to and from the controllers, interfering with the connections to the TV and causing that?

seems like something that would activate Force feedback in a controller, slamming an opponent to the ground, if their wireless could be a signal being picked up from a poorly shielded connection on the cables or in the TV and be causing some sort of interference on the TV?

its just a wild guess, and by no means an answer, but its all that I can come up with or think of that could be causing this, especially with 2 different games and consoles?

poor shielded connection cable? what that mean? like cables are poor constructed? the plastic shield is cheap? both avi and hdmi cables?

controller? feedback? i dont know what you talking about but both dualshock2 and dualshock3 have vibrating shock feedback if that helps. the dualshock3 is wireless and the dualshock2 is wired.

pick up wireless signal? i dont know. hmmm how? why?

i also heard putting hdtv on too much sharpness will cause artifacts..... my sharpness is below 15% and i even put it on 0 and still white line screen when oponent fall to ground.
