Anyone getting this!? I just finished watching the game play videos and i was like WOAH! Its definitely got some improvements over GTA and i think overall i like the more open ended game play that they created for the game.

Im on the Xbox version!

From a stand still, im not sure how i like the movement. It doesnt seem ... fluid. Going slow gets a bit better. I think it really shines when your really moving though.

Now, I have all of maybe 4-5 hours TOPS into the game and have unlocked one achievement. Been jumped for my horse. Managed to rescue a ranch but not save the ranchers daughter. Stab a guy for stabbing a whore outside of the saloon ... then get chased by the cops. Rooted out a cattle rustling gang from their hideout with the help of the marshal/deputies. Got Rank 2 in my hunting challenge and started my survival one.

Id say this has been well worth it so far!

I am now about 5 hours into the game.

Highly suggest that after your done on the ranch (finish the race) get the ride into town with Bonnie then do the first mission with the Marshal. Get a horse and go back to work with Bonnie until you get the Lasso and learn how to herd. You will get many more useful skills taught to you working with her.

Lassoing is FUN!

I watched my son play this for about an hour last night. It has really good graphics and I love when he shoots a deer or rabbit and skins them for meat and skins. The character is talking to himself at one point and says to the deer, what were you eating? this is nasty. I about died laughing.

hope your son is over 17-18 cause this is not a kids game.

No it's not. He's almost 19.
It's seems most of the games coming out now are not for kids.
I do wish they would provide an alternate vocal track so you could turn
off the cursing if you desired to do so.
