Keyboard not working properly when playing Counter-Strike
This is the problem, I have a microsoft comfort curve 2000 keyboard right now and it's working perfectly as I am using it to type this message. The problem starts when I start to play Counter-Strike (1.6 or Source, same problem). The keys, forward (w), backward (s), left strafe (a) and right strafe (f) all stop working. It would just automatically move on its own unless I hold the ALT button. While holding the ALT button, everything works normally. I also tried installing new drivers but no use. Tried changing the keyboard language location from US to UK, still no luck.
I tried to play Gunz and everything works perfectly. So I am thinking it's not keyboard related, might be the game.

I am not very familiar with key maps, would you mind telling me how I can do that? I would greatly appreaciate it.

I don't play CS so i dont know the menu system. Try going into the menu and checking them for something like Map Keys or Key Mapper.

I found a fix for mine finally. Win 7 64 bit is my OS, and it seems like it is OS related.
1. right click steam.exe
2. compatability mode
3. Run steam with Win xp serv pack 3
4. Apply, click okay.
5. Open steam
6. play cs or something, see if it works.

Rather naive in the extreme to go to Communist China--even if a 'special territory' thereof --to hide. An act he will doubtlessly regret as he becomes a pawn.
