Here's a screenshot of Origin scanning everything on my PC, including TAX documents, my cell phone folder (call logs, contacts, texts, etc) and pretty much everything in between. Origin reserved teh right to sell all of my data off to 3rd parties in the TOS. Honestly, this is unacceptable to me. My tax records should not be in anyone's hands outside of mine or my accountant.
I uninstalled Origin today, and will not be playing this game it seems till they revise the TOS.
(might give sanboxie a try also)
I'm not sure how many were aware of this, but figured I'd post it up to inform others.
IMO, this is no different then spyware, in fact, pretty sure this is teh exact definition of spyware. I will not tolerate this at all.
Origin and BF3 both appear to be working fine within sandboxie. I'd give this a try if you have ANYTHING that you'd like to keep private.

Some maps are degenerating into an RPG v infantry war... some things never change...
I find the game really hard. Basically, you can go for points and die or go for kills and ambush."The world burns while Obama Tweets."

Yeah the RPGs are getting a bit out of hand, espically if you have an ammo guy on hand. lol

No, I said I would detach the main drive and play the game on the second. That is where I was being ripped on. The piratebay link was just to the beta.

EA may also use this information combined with personal information for marketing purposes and to improve our products and services. We may also share that data with our third party service providers in a form that does not personally identify you. IF YOU DO NOT WANT EA TO COLLECT, USE, STORE, TRANSMIT OR DISPLAY THE DATA DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE APPLICATION.
Anywho, the part I bolded I found very contradictory. If it's personally unidentifiable, then why are they collecting your IP address. That identifies you right there...
And there are quite a few screenshots from other people surfacing that is showing Origin scanning through C:/Documents/Favorites folder, CS5 folders, skype folders, even LastFM playlist folders.. lol

Found a bug where, if you are one class and you die. You pick a different class and someone revives you, you become that new class
