I play from time to time still. Not near as much as I did when it came out. Game has gotten kind of boring for me already.

Since I only get a few hours a week to game, it's still kinda fresh for me. Although the incessant hackers, d-bag admins, and the glitches that Dice just can't seem to fix are starting to wear me out on the game.

I wasn't able to even get in a server the other day. I've been just playing the campaign.

I've tried playing with local buddies only, as I sorta get annoyed by hacks and such I guess too. The punkbuster service, really has been fail. Actually I don't get why multi-player games have cheats put into the code in the first place...

Compared to BF2, if anything it's harder flying in BF3, or I'm really out of practice.

In BF2 I can fly fixed wing aircraft pretty easily, and quite adept at the hot dogging showing off stuff, but any VTOL or Choppers I can never get the hang of.


Now here's the dumb thing... I play ArmA 2, thats more Sim like in nature with Military FPS type game play... and I'm able to fly ANY aircraft with ease, using the same Logitech Analog stick Game pad in both.

in fact with the few I play ArmA 2 with, I'm known for performing white knuckle vomit inducing maneuvers with both fighter jets, attack choppers, and even the occasional aerobatics flying a C-130.

pretty soon in the coming months should be getting BF3 as well, since My brother wants to start playing it on the PC, he's getting bored with Console, lack of good servers, and the larger player limits are only for PC (64 player, and such)

they want to bring in all this realism with these games, and then they let crap like that happen and take place in the game and servers

-The MAV can no longer be used as an elevator.

I always laugh when I see people do that

C4 will no longer be detonable after a player respawns, if the player is revived within 5 seconds he can still detonate his C4.

I found about the c4 thing a long time ago, i dont know how many times ive planted c4 died, came back and got the kill.

I have been getting a lot of Game disconnected: your connection to the server timed out lately. Anyone else?

I think I sorted out the game disconnect issues, I disabled the UPnP on my router and that seems have cleared it up.

New patch for the ps3 was released today (its about 1.07 GB), 360 and pc will soon follow.

Cant wait for them to stop MAV riding

The only thing that bothers me on the change list is they are making the Javelin suseptible to flares. Unless the SOFLAM is directly behind the jet/chopper, flares shouldn't be able to break the laser lock.

Game seems to be running smoother and I like how much darker the command menu is
