    Restaurant City

I hope ya'll won't mind helping a 50-something Mom of 2 (one CPA, one in law school) who is total newbie to online games. I'm a long-time subscriber to Games magazine, so I love old school puzzles, but back in the day I used to love playing games like Frogger & Mario Bros. (YUP - I'm OLD AS DIRT ) I discovered the Restaurant City game on Facebook, and loved the idea of setting up a restaurant, buying and planning the food and decor, etc. I understand these are called simulation games, right? Isn't Sim City the same kind of thing?
I would love to keep playing on Facebook, but theres NO way I can afford to constantly put money into the game. Are there a-n-y SAFE, free, games similar to Restaurant City available online? OR Are there any games like this I can purchase for around $20 - $25?? I'd love to find something that is fairly challenging but entertaining. Am I asking too much? Thanks to all of you for your patience and suggestions.

Most games on FB don't REQUIRE you to pay anything. Sure you get more options but that is your choice to play. Having never played the game itself its hard to say that there is anything out there that would be similar. Sim City is more like CityVille where as you design a city scape. Its a little less involved than reward based games like those on FB. You build things, design your city scape and then collect taxes until you can build more.

Sim City is very fun. I used to play it a lot a few years ago. You can do anything from constructing entire city blocks, to driving the little vehicles around, to even causing natural disasters and such. I would probably still be playing it today if I didn't get into a game called Minecraft.
