MOHAA 2 players behind a router, please help!
Hi there,
I have two computers (pc & laptop) behind an eminent router. On these computers I've installed two original versions of mohaa.
When we try to enter the same server in the multiplayer section, the second computer that tries to enter gets a timeout.
Over the last years we used to play this game a lot and we never had this problem, but now we have a new router and a new laptop so I don't know which one gives te problem.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!!

Welcome to TechIMO!
Until someone comes along that knows, I can make a few observations.
Not a gamer, or multi anything, but seems to me, you are not going through the router, when gaming on a home network.
AFAIK, you can do the same thing with a switch, and I think, you are just going through the switch portion of the router.
That type of switch, has no setting, so I'd say it is computer related.
Wait for the network gamers though, I'll PM one, if they don't see this.
I'm curious, myself.
Edit
Never mind, my lac of gaming knowledge is showing,
You must be using an external server, and that is through the router.Last edited by stroyal; February 22nd, 2012 at 06:38 PM.

Thanks Stroyal!
@ GroundZero 3: we've tried connecting to a few servers and this problem occurs every time. We have Italian versions of MOHAA, since we lived there a few years ago, and I get the following error: "mpo esaurito x la connessione al server".

Tried it, but unfortunately it doesn' t work. When my husband is playing on a server on the pc and I try to enter that server on the laptop it won't let me and when I enter the server first and my husband connects later I get kicked out with the message: server not connected.

Production IG is doing a new Ghost in the Shell series starting in June. It's a four episode OVA of the origin story of Section 9, and it's got all new voice actors. It's going to be strange hearing...
