I'm too scared.
I started feeling a little nervous just watching the walkthrough they did in that video.
I have noticed that the game is generating quite a buzz on the internet.

Umm. Kinda scared now... Cool though. Maybe I'll play it and bump the brightness all the way up. Shaking as it is.
You think I'm joking? First time I played Fear I slept with the light on for a few months after. After The Ring? That too. Also after Deep Space.

After you beat the game, there is a mod you unlock that is freakn hilarious.
As far as the game, I guess I didn't find it as scary as everyone else.
But it's good to waste some time on.
EDIT:
If your looking for a fun F2P game, I would point you in the direction of Blacklight, that game is MUCH more fun.Q6600@4Ghz | i7 920@4.4Ghz |E6320@3.5Ghz

I don't think I'll play this game.
I played F.E.A.R and shit my pants.
That game was like way wicked.

Downloading now... but I'm with Tax as far as FEAR scaring the hell out of me. I don't know why I'm downloading it actually. Chalk it up to peer pressure which no one is actually doing...
Blacklight looks amazing!!!Review kinda low though... GSIGN reviewed it better.
Edit - My new gfx card, etc. can't handle it too well. Maybe if I restarted... tried adjusting specs, too much lag. Maybe I'll try again some other time.Last edited by Interrupt; August 13th, 2012 at 07:21 PM.

meh, I tried this Slender game, didn't care much for it, "died" too many times finding the first page, after the drums start sounding the first time a minute into that my hairs stood on end, but several times when the Slenderman caught up, it wasn't even remotely scary, was like a cheesy Horror movie from a few years back with that whole Twilight Zone/Outer Limits TV Interference effect and silhouette image.
Been scared "sh*tless" more from games like the old Alien vs Predator 1 & 2 for PC, with lights off and sound up.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Now Alien vs Predator would indeed be one scary SOB!

I didn't find AVP scary at all. You want scary? Okay... you asked for it! (Well actually you didn't but lets not split hairs...)

Hey, that's nothing, while I was a kid a couple of stupid bitches that were baby sitting me decided it would be fun to play Psycho. It scared me shitless! I slepped with the light on in my room for a week!

You do realize that explains a lot about you, right? Just imagine if you didn't have those baby sitters I wouldn't think you're as
interestingcool as I do. XD
I'm looking at Slender's specs and I'm not sure why my system is lagging on it so much. Eh, I'll keep trying. Playing a horror game with a horrible frame rate is like skiing on your butt... not very gratifying but what I'm used to.Last edited by Interrupt; August 15th, 2012 at 12:45 AM.

Max ram for XP and an HD 6670 1GB... or is that not good enough? XD

Should be good enough, though the game doesn't seem that graphically taxing, it could just be driver related with the Radeon, or XP.
only things really taxing in the game I saw was the Fog and Flashlight lighting, everything else looked about 10 years behind in graphics detail, and I was running at the max settings for the game at 1080p.
Could be CPU intensive as well, so that might be holding it back, but more than likely its probably GPU related if anything.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

It MAY be the CPU.. you remember my bastard by any chance? The Pentium D. *Shakes head* hate that thing. I'll try again at some point and see if maybe a restart will help.
Edit- Updated driver & restarted. Still persists. I really think it may just be the fog. Anyone else with a similar card having similar problems? Crysis is near flawless with some choppiness, Dead Island ran smooth last time I checked and this isn't even playable on the Simple graphical setting.Last edited by Interrupt; August 15th, 2012 at 01:29 AM.
