From my reading and understanding the core parking is a Windows 7 issues that affects AMD and Intel. Supposedly Windows 8 doesn't have the core parking issues because Windows 8 handles the cores in a better way.
Ill check out the rest of the fixes, I have two GTX770 in an SLI but I think my CPU is really holding me back (I have a Intel i7 950) and just updated the EVGA software to check out this kboost
installed the new EVGA software and enabled kboost on both cards
ran DXsetup.exe as administrator
created the user.cfg and copied it
set power management mode to maximum performance under the manage 3d global settings

[BF4] I have multiple fixes that make the game 90% improved, no more DX error's. : Battlefield
I did this fix and it's so good, I'm going to put off my upgrade until spring since I'll be traveling.
Un freaking believable that EA is too incompetent to do it themselves. I can't help but wonder how good BF4 could be with competent developers.Bill Clinton: "I chose other women over Hillary. You should too!"

DICE is generally a competent game developer, I think in this case, EA pushed too hard to get the game out before COD:Ghosts. What we gamers wound up with was a half steaming pile of dog poo.
All games come out with bugs of some kind, but come on, the 200% headshot bug has been around for 6 weeks now and still isn't fixed. Something like that shouldn't have even made it out of Alpha testing! To those who might be saying goodbye, take your sadness in stride as you walk toward the beautiful horizon.

After the patch any attempt to join a game would get me stuck in the loading screen. EA\Dice fail...To those who might be saying goodbye, take your sadness in stride as you walk toward the beautiful horizon.

The patch I recommended made a big difference for me, but I'm running the DXSETUP.exe install thing again just in case EA fubare'd it just for grins.
The game has improved, but I still die like a dog way too much.
And... next week some time I'll be running an AMD FX 8350 on an Asrock Extreme FX990 board, thanks to you guys' input.
Friking games are getting expensive. More oatmeal and gruel for the family...Bill Clinton: "I chose other women over Hillary. You should too!"

There is a huge rumor going around Megalodon and Parcel Storm so people are searching for it. The other theory is the ship that crashes into the shore is housing a t-rex

I'm a premium memeber and also pre-purchased all of the expansion packs, so I should be covered. Any links to these rumors? To those who might be saying goodbye, take your sadness in stride as you walk toward the beautiful horizon.

Can any of you explain? Did EA promise something for Premium members yet failed to deliver on that promise? Usually for these kind of products, refunds are unheard of, and for EA to be giving refunds means something must be really wrong. One by one the penguins steal my sanity.

I think its mainly because people are so unhappy with the buggy release *shrug*
I have been experiencing crazy rubberbanding since the last pc patch

I had a bit of free time last night, so I was able to get in and play. No major issues, just the usual "one shot kill" glitches, being shot through cover, and the bane of the game 'client side hit detection'. So just another day in BF4.

Looks like the focus has been kind of moving to T Rex and the Transmission level. Lots of references to Jurassic Park (apparently there is a dead goat in a cage on the level somewhere?)
Im sad they dont have the Gun Masters mode anymore. It forced me to learn how to use different pistols
