    Mafia -- Install problem

     
    Well I just got Mafia (game looks SWEET!), i put it in, installs fine till the second cd (file : A6.dta), i've tried to install it two or three times, and even some system cleanup, etc... nothing

    Im running Windows XP (no sp1)

    AMD Athlon 1.2ghz
    512MB SDRAM
    ATi Radeon 32mb DDR
    40gig hard drive
    48x cd rom

    (The CD isn't even spinning when it happens)

    You could maybe try copying the CD to the hard drive then run setup from that

    Try on another cddrive, if it's still no go. Return the cd to store and have another.

    figured out what was wrong, daemon tools cant be installing / running at the time, i had it installed for my .net isos, simiply uninstalled it worked great, thanks for your ideas tho!

    Aha Yes, daemon tools stops the instilation near the end of disc 2.
