I'm about to start playing the original Sims game and I wanted to know if any of you have any hints/tips/cheats that I can use to make the game more fun.
I played it once a while back and I found it quite boring, so I tried to cause as much chaos as I could.
Any ideas on how to spice up The Sims?
Also, can you recommend any add-ons/expansion packs?
Anything else you want to say?

My wife is big into the SIMS. She has most all of the upgrades, ie: Liv'n Large, Hot Date, Vacation. (The one she is missing is House Party.) She has lot's of links and cheats she know's of. Shoot me a PM and she'll put together a list of links for ya if you're interested.

ya house party was pretty lame
That was the last upgrade I bought
What I DO like about the SIMS upgrades are none of them require any of the previous ones.. usually they require you to have EVERY exp pack to play the newest one :/
