    Grand Prix 4

Having a problem with Grand Prix 4..maybe someone could help...I'm running XP with a Geforce 3 Ti 200 and current drivers....after I install the game and it wants to calibrate the graphics, it starts then crashes back to the desktop...nothing I've tried works!
F1 2002 works fine, so does NFS Porsche 2000...anybody else have this problem?
    Thanks for any help

Crashes to desktop are common in GP4 (as are a lot of other bugs), more so with XP I think. On Win98 it never crashed on me but I had a problem where I got stuck whenever I pitted during a race. Tried it on XP recently and it crashed to desktop after a short while. There's a patch for the game due out very soon (next week maybe) so I'm not bothering with GP4 till then.

Oh yeah, there's also an unfinished patch that Infrogrames released by accident. I wouldn't bother trying that one, could cause even more problems. The proper one will be available from www.grandprixgames.com

A friend of mine was also having problems with GP4 and xp. He also has a T1200 and it keeps crashing to windows. Ive just installed xp and am also waiting for the patch before installing GP4.
