I was in Best Buy and people were flocking to the game aisle to buy The Sims, and all those silly add-ons...
This leaves me wondering ... Am I the only one that doesn't like The Sims and all those mods? |

You're not the only one. I can't stand the sims or any of the sim games like sim city. So boring and they get old real fast. |

I played the first one a bit, never really got into it, maybe cuz I never had the guy go to work.
But, got cousins that love em.. <shrug> who knows?

With yah bro... I bought the sims last year and didn't like it. Too much reality and not enough (shooting, fighting, guns... etc LOL).. so I sold it to one of ladies I work with.
EA sure has something going there with the Sims though. Another good Canadian software company

Ahhh I knew there had to be others like me. Well Sim City was fun to play while in school.
I just don't believe how popular The Sims have gotten.
I don't have anything against them making the game, whatever makes them money is cool with me, I guess. |

EA has a rip off going on with the sims... Charging $30 for nothing new but a few furnitures, chat lines and one new feature is outrageous imo.
Their 'addons' should be normal dl'able patches.
What's up with the w9x fever? Something they just released, was it hot date or vacation was the first one to officially support w2k, or was it wxp...
I hate the sims, it get's boring after 5 minutes. Those people can't do anything themselves, as if my own life wasn't boring enough.

I gotta admit I play it once in awhile, but I also play Age of Mythology, Everquest, and other RPS games , as well as CounterStrike, Nascar Thunder and such. No harm in playing it, and I don't bash anyone that does. I try not to limit myself to one kind of gaming experience, either on computer or on a console. |
