    Starcraft 2??

     
    Hey does anyone know if blizzard has mentioned a starcraft sequel? I really hope that starcraft 2 will be released in the next year or two. That would be almost as cool as inheriting 20 mil $

    nothing yet TMK.. they just released starcraft ghost for console.. and they're working WoW (Worlds of Warcraft) now.. so maybe after thats set and stable they'll move a bit more with Starcraft 2...

    Who knows maybe they'll come out with something totally orginal instead of relying on previous ideas...

    The Blizzard site says it'll probably be released at the end of this year, so we can play it in 2004 or so, I'd bet

    I like (and have) all the blizz games, but it is starcraft/bw that is hard to put away. I can't stop with the 2v2's on lost temple, or the comp stomps on money maps, etc...it just never gets boring!!

    War3 is good, but it needs a little more balance... I see more and more mass caster strats, cheese tower/ancient protector rushing, and other stuff that really gets tiring. Blizz needs to tone down the autocasting too. I guess I miss the micro involved with SC/BW.

    Don't forget, there is supposed to be an expansion pack called the Frozen Throne out by Feb. 2003.

    Diablo/D2 is the only game collecting dust right now
    because the item hacking and such IMO is outta control.

    I personally can't wait for SC2! After seeing the hydra, zergling, and marine in 3d (from war3) I will be at the store to buy it as soon as it's released! I just hope the storyline and gameplay is as good as the first.

    I like SC okay, but I really don't care for WC much any more. I guess that's because with RTS games I'm a lot more defense minded than offense, and WC doesn't give you any defense worth speaking of. (I'm referring to the whole series here, WC 1,2, &3)

    I'm not sure if it is a rumor, but my hopes are up anyways!

    If I knew how to convert the War3 screenshot to jpgs, gifs, or pcxs, I'd post a few shots of the hydralisk too. All my screenshots have the ".tga" extension...any suggestions?

    I would love to see a sequel to SC. That is one of my favorite Blizzard games. I enjoy the SP play for WC3 but the multiplayer sucks. The should have built in some type of control so you can tone the computer down. The computer cheats and they are just to damn tough to beat. We had 5 guys at a recent LAN party and only 3 computers and we got the stuffing beat out of us.
