    stuck in NOLF 2 land

    any help?

im stuck at chapter 4. when you go to use the machine on the north wall of the central archive you need to find the file identification # for project omega. since i decided to look at the only walkthrough i could find for this it says that the number is on a note somewhere in this level.

well hell if i could find that note i wouldnt be posting here.
    anyone have a clue?

p.s. i DO have a M9-698 Omega tape but thats just in inventory and you cant do squat with at the moment.

    Arrow

i think its great honeslty. pretty smart AI. guards pick up on footprints, open doors, a bottle being knocked over, etc.

i especially like setting up random bear traps, then watching the guards run into them and wasting them. (not easy to do)

or turn the light off and while they come in the room eventually you are practically invisible so hit them with the mascara stun gun and knock them out.

oh wait...........your gonna wake up are you now?? if i dont put my silenced pistol to the guys head i usally use the hair spray blow torch to burn them to death while sleeping(its nice and quiet) and just use the body remover spray to cover it up. lol

as you can see, yes, its fun but it sucks to be stuck.

thanks Cyclone2 but thats the walkthrough i was referring to and sadly it says:
Next you'll need to find the tape reel number for Project: Omega, found in a note someplace on this level
but where???? actually i have the note i believe but in order to use the machine you must enter the code. but.............the code is not on the paper. im missing out on something on this level.............

if I remember right.. I found the note with the number on it.. in that area around the machine.. just search the offices.. It's been a while since I played through the game.. so I'm a little fuzzy.. I remember having a time finding it as well.. so it could be back down stairs in one of the offices/labs.. but I think it's upstairs somewhere..

Hey is that the level on the underwater thing? If so - did you go to the libray and ask through the drawer? He hands you the manual there. Oh - and then, to get in look for the librarian in the basement using the head. Yep, get the key and you're golden after that.

If that's the wrong level - then just look around. I know - worst advice ever...

    my bad,
