PULLING MY HAIR OUT!

ARRRGGGGHHHH!!! I cannot get my copy of Descent II to install on Windows! I used to use my dad's computer which has the Descent II for Windows 95 exe file, but it won't install on my computer! Does this have to do with me having the original 1.0 version of Descent II and Windows XP? How can I get it to install for Windows? PLEASE HELP.

Might want to check for program compatibilty on the Descent website to see its compatibility with XP.

OK, I got the patch off of descent2.com to upgrade my copy to the Windows 95 version. It starts the intallsheild wizard "Descent II for Windows 95". I click next and it says "this program will only run on Windows 95"

this isnt much help, but get it for mac. runs on the latest OS9 great.

ohhh heres an idea that has gotten 95 programs to work on 2k and me. look on the cd for a directory with the game files. (i think a lot of the old games have one its basicly what it puts on the harddrive when you install) and copy it over and try running it. its worked for me in the past. beacuse sometimes its just the installer thats goofey like that. hope its of some help.
