    Unhappy BF1942 help again....

Ok, I'll admit it. I had a pirated version of this game and Road to Rome. However I liked this game so much I went out and bought it w/ the RTR expansion. Obviously w/ the pirated version serials get blacklisted and I never connected to a game online. Now that I have legit version of the game I cant connect to any server online. I get the error reading Cant Connect to Server. Help!
    How can I connect?

BTW anyone know of a no cd crack?

I didn't have to install Gamespy to play it online.

I'd think you just have to uninstall the old copies of both and install your legit ones.

nighthawk, you sure you didn't already have gamespy installed, I'm pretty sure the server searcher is powered by gamespy (it says so on the connection screen).

I don't have BF1942, but you should clear the registry of any reminants of BF1942 so you start off on a "clean slate"

It may say "powered by gamespy", but you don't have to install it. I've intentionally not installed it every time it's asked me to.
