Enemy Territory Canceled, but not completely

Sources tell me that RTCW:Enemy Territory was canceled, but just the single player. The multiplayer will be able to be just downloaded. I think this is good news

That is really disappointing as the original was one of the best fps I have ever played. From the previews that I had read up until now I was under the impression that this expansion was coming along nicely, much better than the mohaa expansion.
I wonder what happened?

According to the press release, the SP component of the game wasnt going at the pace that they were expecting.

I'm your opposite, couch potato. When I buy a game, it must have good single player, with the optional multiplayer capability as a bonus.
