Morrowind - Vivec quest
 

Hi,

In the orders of caius I got to vivec.
Talking with people there about "latest roumors" opened a new jornal entry.
I went to the "Offices of the watch" and got the quest and finished it.

When I come for the reward I get 2 options:
A belt - value 33 gold
A helm and cuirass - total value 14000 gold!! awosome armor.
However when I wear it and go outside, and try to talk to an ordinator he says that I'm waring something sacred and he attacks me. I'm only level 3 so he kills me straight away :(.

Can I get them and not get attacked? (like not wear them near ordinators).
Are there more creatures that will attack me If I'm wearing it?

1st of all what was the new journal entry you got?
what quest did you do and who gave it to you?

2nd check your Bounty and see if your wanted, the Ordinators are the guards for Vivec.

You dont really need that sort of armour at such a low level, but it doesn't also make more creatures attack you either.

First of all, thanks for the greeting :)

The quest was to find out who is slaghtering people in Vivec
(5 outlanders and 2 ordinators were killed).

So I went to the Forigner Quarters underworks and killed the woman with the dagger (she was not too easy to kill).

The armor I have is of 27 armor rating.
I'm a Nord, so I started with high skill in medium armor.
I have a helm, torso, boots and pants that are all medium armor plus shield and bracers of heavy armor I think total of 23 AC or so.

Replacing the helm and torso to these I get increases it over 30!!!

I don't think I have a bounty on me (how can I check it).

The thing is that the ordinator says something about the armor I'm wearing and that it's holy or someting like that then he attacks.

Look under bounty on your character stats screen


No I remember now - you cant wear ordinator armour around them, otherwise they will attack you, this is normal.

And having the armor in inventory?

Just don't wear it around the ordinators. Their armor is sacred to them. Having it in the inventory is fine. The guy who gave it to you mentioned not to wear it around the ordinators.

That's good to kill her at lvl 3.

Yeh 2 choices, either don't wear it around ordinators (just carrying it is fine), or ya can actually wear it right infront of them as long as you don't talk to them they wont hassle you about it.

welll uh.......... i just cheated and added kick *** armor and weap to my inventory then went about the game in an orderly manner killing everything and it was fun.................

RIGHT ON! i for one love the daily routine of slaughtering all of the guards in caldera... man i hate that place for some reason. Nothing a little 50 foot 100 damage fireball can't fix:D

Oh, and the backstabbing of townsfolk with a daedric claymore is also one of my favorite things to do... (SHINK!)

Omegaz, i don't really see the point in cheating, it kinda defeats the purpose of playing the game really, esspecially when you do it to make you character unbeatable... Atleast by not cheating you can actually earn the right to be unbeatable....

I've pretty much had it with morrowind, i'm thru the main quest, but its beginning to crash on me alittle too often & since i'm thru the main quest i can't really be bothered to put up with it anymore.
