And in your first post you stated oh yea, you go buy a 500 dollar card WRONG. You dont need the top of the line equipment to run a game. and when you say that it runs choppy you spend 1000 of equpiment WRONG AGAIN pal, you can resalvage equpiment like the hard drives, the ram if you're running DDR, sound card, speakers, monitor, all that.

And from the look of those posts that you added, it seems that you don't know how to use a computer that great so you flame the computer and you say to people you need to buy a whole new computer when you can re use parts

buddy calm down, its a few posts, and besides its just gaming, im just trying to make a point, jeez at least this kind of stuff isnt my life, its called excercise, and friends, yes FRIENDS (you wanna know how i know you dont have a life, you've got almost 2000 posts, i dont even have time for more than 3 a day cuz i go to the movies and stuff with my friends). man some ppl need to go outside more. lol

Well my local computer store has more than enough computer games and the reson you may not see as many is because the pc games are sold out as sonn as they come in just my observation here.

Laptops are good enough to play those games if they have a mobile Nvidia or mobile Radeon chip in them.

From my experience with games, I've found that, even at the expense, a laptop is better than a hefty portable console. Mainly because of LAN play and the awesome ability to play Half-Life games (ie all 50000000000000 of them). I know X-box can do LAN play, but having 4 people aquint at a screen the size of a peice of paper isn't the greatest idea in the world.

Console and computers have their points, but I personally like computers better, expecially since now the great arms race has slowed down and we can play new games on 2 year old machines.

Of course, I'll continue to play my Gameboy Advance

all i have to say on this one is: Half Life 2.... PC games are here to stay, they've come too far to fizzle out now. i mean what drives intel and amd to make 3gig processors, or nvidia and ati to make rediculous videocards? it sure as hell isnt the newest web browser or spreadsheet program just food for thought

I think this hole danm console thing is a rip off because first they make a console and a few games then about half a year later they make you buy the next new and improved console and the sequels to those games then the next console comes out then on and on and on it goes. And i also hate konami for making mgs1 and 2 only for ps2 then they make mgs2 substance for only xbox then they make mgs1 remake only for GC what kind of crap is that! YOU HAVE TO BUY 3 DIFFERENT CONSOLSE JUST TO PLAY ONE DANM GAME SERIES!!!!! JUST ONE DANM @!#$$% RIP OFF!!!
