Perhaps the biggest news, however, is the new "Onslaught" mode, which CliffyB described as "large-scale" and "vehicle-based" … we'd describe it as a cross between Halo and Battlefield 1942. Obviously, this requires vehicles, and plenty have been added to UT 2004, including jeeps, tanks, alien hovercraft, and even space fighters, evoking shades of Wing Commander.
    mmm....hovercrafts & spacefighters!

edit: haven't seen any new release date for it other that what Telexen mentioned per the original question...

Good one thePh@r@oh......and for some reason I think people will still be asking," will this vid...err...graphics card be able to handle Doom 3?", and not UT2004 for upcoming builds/upgrades...

Doom 3 is far more advanced than anything we're going to see for a long time...

I have to say that I played UT2003, and after a week of playing it, it got really boring....

    so, forget UT2004.

I went to GameStop yesterday and this guy let me read an article on UT2004. It looks great and it comes out late fall if ya want to know. I reserved it myself for $10 down.
