I don't think the D3 engine could handle that vast an outdoor inviroment, but hey I've only played the alpha so who knows! That would be neat to have that sort of realism ingame! It would be like watching Mechwarrior 4's movies without them being movies

You'd have to have one hell of a system to play it with all that detail.

OMG.... Mechwarrior with DOOM3 graphics.... *droooool*
The in-play graphics for mechwarrior are good enough as it is... Could you imagine seeing a hole from a Gauss cannon in the side of a mech? All black & smoking...
Or how about the after effects of an Auto Cannon on a chassis?
