Mine did that a lot when I was trying to play AAO with a 32mb graphics card lol. Anyway got a 9000Pro and problem went away until I started trying to oc my GPU so I put it back to normal and haven't had a problem since... Your 32mb is probably it. U should have a better graphics card for that game...just my 2 cents

Ya, I thought it MIGHT have something to do with vid card
On my win.98 crappy 500mgz 32 meg vid card system, It worked, then again it was a decent video card, not a built in piece of future shop sh*t
I am going to get a vid card, A 128meg one, forget the brand, but it's cheaper that the Radeon's, so hopefully it might help
Thanks |

But the only thing I don't understand
I can play any other game perfectly, even UT2k3, without it messing up like that
Does CS really need really good specs? never new |

Hey guys, I'm VERY sorry to bump this. However, I searched in Google about this, and you seem(ed) to have the same problem as me that I have right now. It's killing me. Literally. It's been going on for 2 months. It just restarts and says random stuff like that. Once it said, "PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGE AREA." Another time it said, "BEGINNING DUMP OF PHYSICAL MEMORY." I just don't know what to do, and I was wondering, if you still post here, what you did to fix it.
The only thing that is bothering me, is that this problem DID happen to me on other games. It happens during Natural Selection, Day of Defeat, Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament 04. However, I'm pretty sure it's the same problem. Also, it doesn't only restart, but it also exits, crashes, or freezes sometimes.
Please, help me. I'm begging you. It's been going on for 2 months.
And again, I'm sorry for bumping, but I just had to.
Thank you,
-Triftel
PS: Here are my computer specifications.
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Mainboard
AMD Athlon XP 3000+/400 FSB
XFX GeForce FX 5600 256MB
512MB of DDR333 memory (I don't know the company, my friend gave it to me.)
I have a 350W power supply as well, if that has anything to do with it. |
