    Anybody have/play "eRacer" on PC?

I got it a while ago, just curious if anyone here also has it?

I reckon its a pretty good game graphics wise, but the AI seems like it isn't totally correct and also the physics seem alittle out too.

Just curious, anybody who does have it, what system are you running? And does it tend to run alittle slow at times? Cuz i have a 1.1Ghz tbird, 64MB Geforce2 PRO, 640MB PC133, running win2k and it seems to get alittle low of fps everynow and then. I've tried in win98 with the same results, also i have downloaded the patch from the website which supposedly fixed it running slow on powerful machines.

    Lightbulb Smoothing out eRacer

Yes I have eRacer. I dont have any trouble with it but thats probably because I'v got a 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 with a Geforce4 Ti4600 graphics card. I dont think you should of added the high specs patch because Geforce2 is not a high spec card its actually pretty old & out of date. You alt to buy a new graphics card you can get the bottom of the range Geforce4 mmx440 for about 50 or 60 pound or you could buy the top of the range Geforce3 which is alot better than the Geforce4 mmx440 for about the same price. But for now if you want it to run more smoothly, go into the graphics setup of the game and lower the detail of the cars & track also lower the draw distance and turn of the shadows this will make it easier for your computer to run at a higher fps. if you know how to make the fps counter show in the corner as you play aim to have it run no less than about 50 or 60fps and it will be smooth if it go's down to 20 or 30fps it will start sticking so try and pause for a while to give your comp a chance to fegain some memery back & give the graphics card a chance to cool down and catch up. GOOD LUCK

Whoa, talk about a blast from the past!

Man i havent played this game in ages! And I ended up getting it to play smooth on my gf2. But now i have a gf4 ti4200 it should run smooth if i can find the CD and re-install it all...

Oh, and back when that post was made i think GF3 was still being hyped up for release & CPU's were under 1.5Ghz, so yeh, back then my PC was classed as "high performance".

Man i might have to find that & install it again, was a pretty nice game if i remember correctly, tho i never got online to be any good, always too laggy even on my cable connection.

    Question eRacer-Full Version

Does anyone know where I can buy a full version of the PC game 'eRacer'??? The only thing I have is a demo of the game. It's pretty cool and I would like to see what other races there are within the game. If anyone out there can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
