Yes, this also came included with battlefield 1942 SWW which is awesome.
Since I registered and got the news letter I get the new map philipines map

I read about it. I'll pick it up if I ever have time from Halo or CoD to play it. One thing nice about BF1942 is the new DC .5 that is coming out soon. The video at GameSpy is great.

Overall Patch Rating - 1/5 - DICE, you really could have done better.

Pros:
1. At least it installs this time.
2. The game still works.

Cons:
1. The mods arent compatable again.
2. The M1 Garand is stupid, its ONLY in Pacific Maps! Now thats lazy.
3. The Philipines map is ok, just ok, seeing the same Pacific building models makes it look the same, and the textures are mediocre.
