Deus X Invisible War Demo!!!

Just surfing around at work and I have just found that Edios have just released the Deus X Invisible War Demo. I'm thinking this must be Deus X 2 that we have been waiting many years for. Damb I now have to wait 2 1/2 hours before I finish work and can go home and download it.

im not real happy with the demo. many ppl are flaming it on the boards. but what is a fact is the ini's need tweaking to make the demo "playable". getting link now for ya

Probably. Alot of people are still having problems with the first one

That is how the first one was.. I picked it up installed it.. didn't like how it played.. and promptly uninstalled it.. 6 months later.. with patches out.. I reinstalled it.. and patched it.. and beat the game.. making it one of my favorite games I've played..

I'm thinking number 2 is going to be the same.. so not going to rush to buy it..

Sounds like they are more concerned with the console version, so PC performance is bad.

Wel; have the demo and............. ITs SO COOOOL!!!! Yes some textures are no the best and there are glitches here and there and the weapon hand go's through wall if your close but guess what!? its a demo! Anyway, so far its really cool! for example i started in an aliway type area then i move out and came next to this aprtment complex and i guard saw me, so i ran back and hide behind a dumpster, he said "Hey! whos there!" and im like "WTF! OMG COOL!" i poped out and killed him ran into a building then this girl started to shoot me then she thew a grenade and i ran up to her and killed her, lookd around, and saw the grenade transform into a spyder bot that started to zap me!! So far performance with my computer was not bad at all (like some poeple have been complaining about) and it ran smooth except if you leave the game and open it again, the next time you lpay it lags sooooo bad like a slide show until you press esc and go to the menu then options>video setings then you exit the menu and go back to the game, it smooths out again to be playable. The ragdoll physics are a little off in my opinion, for instence, after i killed the girl i shot her in the head to test the physics and she did like a 4ft-in-the-air-belly-flop. the shadows are cool but some light sources creat some odd loking shadows but none the less impresive. Deus ex invisible war is alot like the first game. I was able to find an air vent that led underground that i found some goodies, as usuall in the DX world there are multiple choices to go about your mission but this time theres lots of choices and there good and all but, frankely, im lost in the game! Bimods are a little difficult to activate/deactivate/understand but im learning. So yeah! its really good i really lie the demo and supposedly its going to be greatly improved in the final game (which is out today i think) i highly recomend deus ex fans to get it!!! p.s sorry for bad grammar but im in a hurry!

i cannot wait to get this game. might have to buy it for xbox. I dled the demo, but my graphics card isnt good enough to even play it and i dont have money to buy a new one. =(
oh well, it recieved outstanding reviews on the xbox so looks like i am going to go out and buy that version =)
believe it comes out the 15th for the box. yay. right when i finish exams!
