We have a good game center here... guy owns it with his wife... dosnt hire people to work and its a 24/7 deal. Just gives the older kids that he trusts Hours on the rigs for working. Basicaclly if you watch the shop you can game as much as you want. I imagine it took him a while to figure out who he trusted though. hYpO Lots of money can be made with this stuff Have you worked on getting sponsors? Microsoft is a good one to get from what I hear, also alienware is always pretty good at sending ya shirts and mousepads for prizes and such

Net Cafe? How about P2P with a Pen Drive?
I wouldn't mind playing world war 2 online.. or similar online game that requires a fee..
This way they could come in and play when they wanted to without a monthly fee.. and just pay for the use.. |

I wouldnt know how to get in touch with microsoft for sponsoring so if you have any details let me know. |

You plan on having this LAN Cafe for daytime operations, like 9-5 sort of stuff?
I'm just wondering, because unless it's a Saturday, most people who LAN are either at school or working.
To get your Cafe up and running consider the following:
a) price per hour
b) refreshments?
c) opening and closing times
d) hardware
e) extra peripherals (some gamers prefer track balls, etc).
The easiest way to get through something is to try and plan EVERYTHING that can possibly happen, ahead. |

1, its gonna be open 24/7
2, $2 per hour, for 2months then it goes up to $2.50 for non members.
3, Already got a fridge and drinks and stock, this is a real internet cafe we will be half a cafe and half internet cafe.
4, computers purchases and built already (by myself)
5, Havent thought of extra peripherals. Except for the comps we are running and the prizes that are going to be able to be run. |
