Diablo 2 LOD: Good Paladin Build

I'm looking for a good Paladin build strategy... any suggestions?

Anyway what kind of paladin would you like to make?

I'm going to make the following 8 Paladins on 1 account, already done 4.

1. Hammerdin
Just swirl those magic hammers.
2. Zealot
Just smash up monsters with 5 hits in just over a second
3. Defiance Smiter
Use your shield to kill, use defiance aura to get huge defense
4. Charger
Grab a big 2 handed weapon with huge damage and charge those bastards.
5. Ranger
Grab a bow and whoop some ass
6. Conversion/Thorns
Not sure on the right name, but you basicly converse enemys, then they will get thorn on them, and when other monster hit that monster then they will take alot of damage.
7. Elemental Pala
Not sure on the name of this char either, basicly just max vengeance, max the neccasary synergy skills and then use conviction or fanat to do huge elemental damage. (fanat for speed, and conviction for awesome damage)
8. Tesladin/Templar
Using Holy shock as your main aura, and since that's the synergy for FoH, i decided to use that too.

I don't understand what you explained in the Ranger ways...could you expand? I tried a bow, and it sucked with paladin.

What you need is a bow with Fire Explosive arrows, the ultimate bow for a ranger is a Kuko Shakaku

It has a few great mods, first of all the damage isn't great, however it's good enough to leech with.
It has fire explosive arrows, with every char, including a paladin, when you hit a target it will show a explosion, and that explosion will damage all the enemys in the range of it.
The damage of the explosion is based the lvl of it, it does 32-36, but not the fire damage of the skill alone decides the damage of the explosion, all the other fire damage which you get from charms, jewels etc will boost it's damage, and this weapon has 40-180 fire damage on it!!
And then we have the piercing mod, so if you got a group of enemys and you shoot and it pierces through, then you will have 2 fire explosions, and that's a lot of damage.

I decided to go for Holy Freeze as aura, it gives a nice cold damage boost, damages all enemys in range with cold, but also ofcourse freezes monsters, which makes it easier for me to hit.

It's a very fun build, however if you don't have a Kuko then you probably should try this character out, because it would be just like playing with a amazon without any bow skills...

Nice idea for the ranger build, however not a good choice if ur gonna duel imm. too slow, bad damage etc....
The best pala build too my mind is foh/conviction, good damage for fist with synergies, awasom resis drain with conviction, u cant lose!!! so for all the noobs out there. this is the best pala dueler

You can't loose?

340% LR + Guardian Angel + Tgods is pretty much immune against FoH.

You might think how many have that? Well if you duel in a good clan then many have lots of LR charms in their stash incase they duel a FoH build.

Also for the Ranger, how bout getting a Holy Freeze merc, so that you don't have to waste points in holy freeze, and can dump some into Holy Schock that way your bow will be doing Fire/Lit dmg, while your merc does cold dmg.

Another idea would be to max Holy Freeze, Holy Lit, and Holy Fire and get a might merc, that way your physical dmg will be boosted by your mercs might, and you can switch between cold, lit and fire dmg from the 3 auras depending on the situation.

Well there are many ways to build a ranger, however i also duel a bit with it, where holy freeze is really usefull.
