Q3a question

THere is a group of people in our office who play Q3a at lunch and i want to join them but i don't usually play quake as i makes me feel sick, the rolling of the character as he runs is the culprit i think.
One of the lads here reckons that there is a way to disable this feature but he can't remember it. Anyone here know.

I've never tried but according to this, there are 3 different variables - up/down, forward/back and side to side. So when Quake3 loads, open the console and type (pressing enter after each one):

\cg_bobpitch 0
\cg_bobroll 0
\cg_bobup 0

Edit: just found another 2 variables you'll need to set to zero:

\cg_runpitch 0
\cg_runroll 0

Too bad earlier this year they banned all laptop video gaming during the school day at my regular high school!

So those commands to work!?! I'll have to file them away in my database of knowlege! It could be helpfull, cause I've known a few people that suffer form that.
