A mouse pad is a mouse pad to me...what makes one better than another?

I use an everglide it is similar. I like the everglide but I had to buy a new one in less than a year because it smoothed out |

I have also used the everglide's but never any of the ratpadz.
Even with an optical mouse a good mouse pad such as these will enhance any game. Although potato chip crumbs pretty much ruins the experience... |

bah, mouse pads are for people who don't keep their desktops clean. I have been computing mousepad free for about 3 years now, and never looked back.

Mousepads can also add an extra glide or resistance if you need it, without changing settings that may make your mouse feel awkward. |
