Unable to see web pictures

Unable to see web pictures

I am unable to see some pictures on the web. It is about 1/20 sites that i only see empty spaces where the pictures should be.

DSL

I have deleted the Temp INternet files
DIabled firewall
Set all internet options to default.

What is the problem?

Which sites can you not see pictures on?

switch your firewall back on NOW.

wot firewall is it.............if its norton or outpost it might be ad blocking the images. if so u can turn the ad blocking off.

some pictures have adware and spyware cookies associated with them (at least i think thats how it works), so your firewalls ad blocker will block such images if they are in its list of adware thats to be blocked.

make sure u have security level for inernet explorer set to "medium" for "internet"

dsl surfing without a firewall is a bit risky............turn it on and keep it on!

Did you delete the history also?

Post a link to a web site where you can't see the pictures.

BTW, the firewall thing is not that big of a deal as far as the pics are concerned.
