Question
Flipping lines on lcd monitor

Can any one tell me why I get flipping, horizontal lines on my TFT lcd monitor when I try to play a dvd movie from my portable player ? When I play a movie from my portable player to a regular TV it works fine, and when I play a movie from my DVD player in the house to the tft, LCD monitor it works fine, but when I try to play a movie from my portable DVD to my tft Lcd monitor I get flipping lines. It seemd like there is an out of sequence signal between the portable dvd player and the Lcd monitor. Again, I know both the portable dvd, and the Lcd monitor works, just not together, and I've gone thru all the settings and nothing solved problem.

Not sure what format either one uses

I'm not sure, the monitor is an in-dach , motorized flip out unit and it will display a great picture when I use my PS2 or VCR in the house but when I try to run a portable DVD player to it I get a flipping screen. You can still see the picture or movie that your trying to view but its flipping.

The monitor uses uses NTSC Video, and that is what the output from my portable DVD is.
