"Electronic Systems High School" "Industrial Management"
If you guys had the kind of balkan experience I have youd know this guy prolly cant write helloworld in basic. The "Electronic Systems High School" is actually a three year vocational school, after wich if you want to continue your studies at a university you need to make up a years worth of high school. "Industrial Managment" is a term used for schools created because "old school" EECS had really bad enrollment the last couple of years and so designed a bunch of courses which if you pay like 1000$ you get a diploma. The real programmers at my college of natural sciences laugh their ass off every time one of these "managers" starts ranting about stuff they know nothing about. In other words this discussion, as well as the one at usalug is giving too much attention to a poorly researched and written book. |

| Taunting and/or name calling are not acceptable for any reason. This policy applies to both new and already established members alike. The TechIMO forum software provides both a email and private message subsystem, and members are expected to use these features to work out their personal differences in private, otherwise report the thread to a moderator.
I don't think this is your first warning either, is it Epyon?

But [productivity applications] simply do not exist. Or, as far as there are some, they are smaller in number and performance is less satisfactory compared to the variety of the commercial software. The reason for this is quite simple – the development of appropriate programs requires considerable investments and cannot be achieved with enthusiasm and belief in fairy-tales. People want money for their work and this is a paid service.
| While this is sometimes true (dreamweaver) on the whole it is not (openoffice, gimp, etc). besides...there's always wine, virtual machine, and a few others. Quote: |
The truth is that the target {of open source] is not the monopoly of Bill Gates but the commercial software as a whole.
| That makes a whole lot of sense Quote: |
The Open source is not “world’s conspiracy”. It is a new religion – the next opium for the people
| ok, i'm not reading any more. At first there were some interesting ideas, as i will admit that linux is not the end-all solution to windows from a business point of view, but his approach has become ludicris. |

| Hahaha, it's spelled "ludicrous". Some rapper comes along and all of a sudden everyone spells it the other way.. |

Magdalina, Please spam elsewhere. It would be one thing if you were a real member with something to say, but you're too lazy to even use a different name in different forums. OR even different *content* in your posts.
This is just a thinly veiled advertisement for the book. |
