Outlook new pst file?

How do I point Outlook to a different .pst file than the one it is using right now?

And what exactly will it import when I point it to a new .pst file? (Will it import contacts and address book also?)

Yes, we use it very often to backup entire mailboxes from exchange.
Its time consuming, and takes up some space but effective.

yes you can copy contacts no worries

--- be warned ----
Probably not an issue for you, but previous to Outlook 2003 there is a 2GB limit on PST's before they corrupt so stay below that.

Thanks for the info. Ill give it a try once I get home.

But tell me if I backed up the correct files : Local Settings > Application Data > Microsoft > Outlook Folder (which contained my 250MB Outlook.pst file plus 1 or 2 other files).

Did I back up the correct folder and files?
