Reseating CPi CPU
I have Dell CPi laptop that powers up for 2-3 seconds and powers down. I have read that I might have to reseat my CPU. How is this done? Thanks for your help.

I dont think you can reseat processors on a laptop. I always thought they were soldered onto the board.

on the contrary, i've repaired many laptops, that have standard removalble cpus.
one must open the laptop case, remove keyboard, and get to cpu there.
but i don't think that solves the problem.
