I was wondering if there is a program that will go through your hard drive's deleted information and show stuff that was recently deleted. I remember seeing a program in class that was shown to us that revealed everything that was deleted on the harddrive. Because as we all know when stuff is deleted it is pretty much still left on the harddrive but there is a hexidecimal added to the name so that it does not appear displayed on the harddrive and so it can be rewritten over. I was wondering if anyone knew of such a program(s).
A bunch of freeware for this at the above link. Data recover isn't an exact science at our level. Whatever is available to the general public is hit or miss. I've sometimes had better luck with freeware than payware.
PS download them all and save them. Freeware has a way of becoming payware.

i'm looking for a program that shows me emails, passwords, documents, files, and sorts them. This program did that and more and seperated it into folders for viewing. Any idea?
I found that program, it's called Forensic Toolkit, if you want to see some really interesting things that are still on your hard drive or on a hard drive that you can't boot up to but can connect as a secondary drive, then this is your program. It's around 800.00 bucks, but the shareware lets you recover at least 5000 files. Here's the link:
