    second hard drive

     
    i have added a secon hard drive the problem is that bios recogqnizes it but windows xp doesnt.i have it set as slave.i didnt put an os on it should i since i plan on useing it just for storage.please what is my next move.

    Please don't post the same question in different threads.

    Is the 2nd Drive formatted as NTFS and the Master as FAT by any chance?

    is this a new drive?

    right click on my computer, click manage.

    then click disk management and you should see it. you should be able to partion the drive and format it

    please do not post more than one topic on the same subject
