thanks dan, i know this guy that works at a computer repair store. i will ask him if he knows how to change the card. is a video card and graphics card the same thing? any recomendations for a good card? |

Yeah, its the same thing.
Well, there are video cards such as these for notebooks:
~ NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5600
~ NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5700
~ ATI Mobility Radeon 9600
~ ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
These are very powerful video cards for notebooks.
These will support newer and advanced games such as Halo.
But, they are really expensive. Much more than the same video card for a desktop.

the video cards he listed are all integrated into the laptops all will be good but the best is the 9700
a sound card plays sound nowadays everything has either a soundcard or integrated sound |

If you want a laptop that will game, there are a few of us on the forums that have eMachines M6805 laptops and love them.
I was just at a LAN party Saturday, we were playing Battlefield Vietnam and I was playing on my M6805 while serving to 6 other players
You won't be disappointed if you get one of these babies  |

A 7500 radeon would prolly be better than intel integrated graphics. If you have the money the 9700 is the fastest of the ones Dan said. |

Modem: 56K* ITU V.92 Fax/Modem <-what does all them mean. is 56K good? |
